Before this, they owned and operated With a Twist Bartending back in 2006 while living in Denver. This bartending service grew to one of the largest in the country. They expanded the operations of ‘With A Twist’ into Sioux Falls, Minneapolis, Omaha, Chicago, and Michigan. This shift in operations gave them an opportunity to work at thousands of weddings and collaborate with some of the best wedding venues in the Midwest for over 15 years.
Katie and Greg knew they wanted to raise their kids closer to family and in South Dakota. They put their years of collective wedding and event experience to work and began a plan to open one of the best wedding properties in the state just outside of Sioux Falls. After much deliberation, blood, sweat and tears – The Meadow Barn at Country Orchards was born.
Our grand opening was in 2016, and what followed was a thrilling adventure filled with many couples tying the knot at The Meadow Barn. After being met with great success, we were able to a second location. The Veranda was born and it welcomed its first couple in 2019. This intimate, modern venue has proven to be very popular with South Dakota clients planning smaller celebrations and wanting the amazing outdoors as a focal point of their celebration.
For us, The Meadow Barn properties have been a natural progression, and we are both very proud of them.
